The quality of the work that Mr. Roofer did was exceptional. They used top-of-the-line materials, where timely, and very professional. I would highly recommend Mr. Roofer to anyone in need of roofing services

I live in a 2-story condo. I called 3 roofers when I developed a small leak. Albert with Mr. Roofer was the most thorough. He went into the attic, then onto the roof and back into the attic. The morning before the roofers came Albert went into the attic to mark the spot. I do not have drop down steps to my attic so he had to carry in his ladder each time.
He explained everything to me in terms I could understand.
The roofers doing the job were prompt, knew what they were doing and did a great job cleaning up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 18, 2020Previous reviewMr Roofer of Atlanta from the Cartersville, GA area came to check a leak in my roof. Albert came out on 8/31/2020. He went into the attic, then up on the roof and then back into the attic. He explained in detail and language I could understand what was wrong and how they would fix it.
On 9/04/2020 a crew came and repaired the area with the leak. Since then I had 4" of rain from hurricane Sally and not a leak.
The only problem was when was checking the source of the leak his boss called. Albert apologized and stepped outside to take the call. I heard him tell the caller that he was at a women's house. It was 15 minutes later that the call ended. It if was an emergency the call should have been shorter. Otherwise the caller should have asked Albert to call back when he had a chance. Just a lack of customer service but no fault of Albert's. This is why I didn't give them a higher rating. - Macy S.Atlanta, GA19313128Feb 22, 2019
Called in the morning to set up a time to get an estimate on a new roof. An awkward and young receptionist robotically asked me questions off of a questionnaire and ended with "Someone will get back to you." 6 hours later at 4:45pm I have a missed call and email from an Angela. The next day, I call back and it's the useless receptionist again. She said she'd take my message to Angela. Nothing back from Angela, and then today I get a phone call from some random girl saying, "Someone said you wanted a call back?" And I said, yes, Angela was supposed to call me back. I need an estimate. And after a very long pause (I almost hung up during this pause), she says, "Oh I see... it'll be $450 for an estimate."
Nope! During the 3 days this took I had already scheduled another roofer on the first phone call to do an estimate for free.
Why is it so difficult to get a simple response about setting up an estimate??Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sarah K.Decatur, GA043Jul 3, 2019Updated review
Updated to say that we still have had no communication from the original gentleman who came out to see our roof.
I called the main office to explain my situation and was told "well he isn't working today so... we can't really do anything". No apologies, no "we'll try to make this right". They agreed to call me back once they had spoken to him.
You guessed it - three days later, still nothing.
I suggest you take your business elsewhere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 29, 2019Previous reviewSo disappointed to be writing this review considering that we got off to a great start. The gentleman with whom we had an appointment called to confirm, and arrived promptly; he took pictures, showed us what was going on, and told us that he would need to confer with his coworkers to come up with a plan (it's a bit of a complex problem). Ok, totally cool.
He never calls back so two weeks later I call him for an update. I give him my information, and he says he has no recollection of who we are or what our problem was. I describe our problem and he says "honestly I go out to so many homes I just forget about them". Finally he agrees to go look up our information and call me back that evening. He never calls.
I will update this review if I hear back from them - but for now, I would absolutely not recommend this company. - Beth K.Atlanta, GA016Dec 1, 2015Updated review
Mr. Roofer has come back to me and offered me a full refund. I have the check in hand. This is good business and I appreciate a company that will put their customers first. Thank you Mr. Roofer.

I texted and emailed back and forth a couple of times with the guy who did the repair. Finally, he informs me that the owner is the only one who can give the refund. (Mind you, this "refund" was unsolicited by me, all their doing.) I emailed the owner to discuss, and.... nothing. Guess they changed their minds.
Nov 3, 2015Previous reviewDon't waste your time and MONEY! They came out about a month ago to fix a leak. Said he would check while he was up there for any other possible leaks. Well, the lead is still there! Had a neighbor help me put a tarp on the roof after I found out the leak wasn't fixed. He looked around and saw nails sticking up about an inch by one of the ridge vents. If Mr. Roofer had actually done what they said they were going to do, this would have been caught. Called the company to complain. Got a call back from a supervisor who told me they were "doing me a favor" when they fixed my leak. His words. You ACTUALLY said that to a customer?!? Some favor... $300 down the drain. Roof still leaks in they same spot it was leaking before.

Had an appointment for a quote between 2 and 4. Albert called to confirm at 2:30. Then the person called back at 4 to say he probably would not make it today. Meanwhile we had moved meetings to accommodate him. Unprofessional.

I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Mr. Roofer Atlanta. I highly recommend this company and if you want to hear why, read on for details....My husband and I bought our house in October 2013. Being first-time homeowners, we had no idea that the gutters installed on the house at that time were shoddy, DIY gutters, with ill-placed gutter screens. Soon after, we realized there was a huge problem, as the basement kept filling up with 3-4 inches of water every time it rained (this lovely summer rain never seems to let up!). Furthermore, when we looked out the windows, we could see that water was literally pouring over the sides of the gutters, as well as behind the gutters- they were doing absolutely nothing to catch and direct water to the downspouts. The water was running down the side of the house and pooling around the foundation and then finding its way to the basement. In addition to all of this, several pieces of the fascia boards and soffits were severely warped/rotted from all the water damage. Horrible. So in late May 2014, Angie's List set us up with our first estimate from Mr. Roofer Atlanta. I checked out their website and was really pleased with what I found - pictures of all the employees, a gallery of photos of completed work, as well as rave reviews from previous clients. I was also happy to see that they are licensed and insured. Brad Thomason, the owner, called me promptly to set up an appointment at our house to assess our gutter situation. He was punctual, professional, and thorough when he arrived for our appointment. He took the necessary measurements, he said he would work up an estimate and email it to us, which he did within 24 hours. The estimate listed all work to be completed, the materials to be used, orders to haul away all debris and leave our property clean, as well as a 1 year labor warranty. My husband and I were sold on Mr. Roofer after we met with Brad, but we wanted to make sure we were being thorough and so decided to let Angie's List set us up with two more contractors, just so we could have a point of comparison. This was a HUGE waste of time - I'm not going to spend too much time detailing our interactions with the other two companies. I couldn't get one company to call me back for almost a week, and the estimate was in the format of a 3-line, email paragraph. The other company was equally as much of a joke (I don't even know how these other companies have A and B ratings on Angie's List!). I write all of this to illustrate that prompt communication, professionalism and thoroughness are CRUCIAL when you are preparing to spend thousands of dollars with a company for home repairs, and HANDS DOWN, Mr. Roofer was clearly the winner in each of these categories! We hadn't even hired them yet to do the work! Finally, in August, we had our funds ready and called Mr. Roofer to set up a time to begin work. We signed the estimate and sent our 50% deposit. After some coordinating, they were able to schedule the work within a week of receiving our deposit. Brad called to let me know that Bert would be performing our work, and that he had known and worked with Bert for 14 years. On the scheduled day, Bert and his associate showed up and immediately started work. Bert was very professional, friendly, and even took the time to answer all of my annoying questions throughout the day. At one point, I was inside my house and could hear Bert outside telling his associate to make sure the gutter was "perfect." That made me smile! Once the gutters were up and the rotten wood was replaced, my husband and I went outside to inspect everything. The gutters looked AMAZING. We had selected a dark bronze color and it perfectly matched the trim and color of our house! The rotten wood had also been replaced - this was not an easy task, as only certain pieces needed to be replaced, so they had to cut into these areas and insert new wood. It looked seamless. And they had already picked up all the trash and old gutters and loaded it, so our property was clean. Brad called the next day to follow-up and ask how everything went. He also said he would be coming out to do a post-installation inspection, which again, just illustrates this company's professionalism. The real test came a few days later when it POURED, and my husband and I rushed outside with our umbrellas to see how the gutters were working. No spill-over! And it has rained at least 5 times since the installation, and THE BASEMENT IS BONE DRY! YAY! The whole process with Brad and his team from Mr. Roofer, from start to finish, was seamless and extremely pleasant, and I will have no problems recommending this company to my neighbors and friends. The professionalism and care they showed us and our home makes this company truly an A+++ contractor. Thank you Mr. Roofer! :]
