We ordered two plates.
Plate 1 had chille relleno and crispy beef taco, refried beans and rice. Hand fried taco shell. Chille relleno was perfectly balanced. Not too much batter. Perfectly done spanish rice. Excellent flavor and texture.
Plate 2 had a pork tamal with whole beans and rice. Tamal was excellent. Great flavor. Nice balance between meat and masa. Salsa bar was self-serve. Excellent flavor and great heat options. Excellent service. Ambiance received a 4 only because the music was a little too loud. We are originally from SoCal now living in Redding. It has been a little challenging finding a 5 star mexican restaurant since moving from SoCal. This place is a winner.

Good food, good service, and convenient location to top it off.

Ordered the Carne Asada fries and a Pollo Quesadilla.

Next time I come in ordering one or the other, not both together. Too much food!

The Quesadilla itself is pretty big, and I was pretty stinking full by the time I finished it off. I was surprised at how filling it was.

Carne asada fries were tasty, loaded with Pico, gauc, and sour cream. Very good, but omg, the medium order is still huge!

They are right behind a Taco Bell and near a pizza joint, that I haven't tried yet.

If you are in the area and are looking for a good dine in or take out Mexican joint, they are definitely worth considering.

Side note, they have free refills on drinks and a chip/salsa bar.

Staff we encountered were really nice and had good recommendations.

I'm very picky but I tried a super burrito with carne asada on my way home from work. I was actually looking for a pizza place but then saw this place and said what the heck. There was a good crowd inside so I was like, alright this place must be good. I ordered my burrito, got it super fast. Came home and ate it and it was delicious, definitely coming back to get me a burrito and try other foods

The place is clean and the employees are friendly. The food was, honestly, mid. The street taco I had was my favourite part of the meal, though the carne asada was a bit salty. The rice and beans were under seasoned. My son said his flautas was "disappointing." For the price, I wouldn't go back, but it might be someone else's jam.

This is the quickest & best quality food in all of Wheatland!

My wife and I had just finished opening a new account at Sierra Central Bank and we were starving!

We strolled through the parking lot and found this gem! Walk in - start grabbing your chips & soda and then find a seat- so we learned!

Prompt service by the owner himself! Gave us recommendations based on our likes! Went over the whole menu with us and put in our orders electronically as we spoke to him!

BAM! 5 minutes or less our food was out and ready to be devoured! Full of flavor and fresh ingredients!

We have been back twice since and have had the same experience every time!

Hands down the best Carnitas I've ever had! Great service that's also very fast. An absolute must try.

Wow what a hidden Gem!! I oss through Wheatland for work every day, today I had a gap between jobs so stopped in to see what it's like. Salsa is delicious and lord have mercy on these tacos!!! I will be back often

So damn good. The arbol salsa was so good! Got the asada burrito and ate every bite. I was so full but it was so worth it. My husband got the wet burrito with chicken and he loved it. My brother got a shrimp dish (I generally hate when people at the table order Seafood because of the smell) the shrimp didn't smell fishy! It was fresh and he loved it as well. I wish I lived closer to this place. The service was good as well
