McKown Pressure Wash Painting & Contracting

Everyone and their brother seems to have a side business doing pressure washing. But few are professionals that really know what they are doing and have an office staff to do scheduling.

I called the office and spoke with Kelly who scheduled an estimator to look over our 4,000 sq ft home. Kelly was professional and polite. An appointment was set up for that week.

The estimator whose name I now forget was punctual. He was knowledgeable about his trade and went over all the details of what needed done. I discussed other items for a later time. A written estimate was emailed to me a few days later. A 10% discount was applied off of a special. The pricing although not cheap was fair.

I called the office to schedule and again McKown was prompt on scheduling. The gentleman who they sent out called the morning of the job and said he was running late. It ended up an hour late and he was very sick and ended up doing 15 min work and departing. The office called to reschedule that morning and apologized.

Second person Mike was punctual and got the job done as promised, on time and even sprayed our lawn furniture at no extra charge. There were a few areas that needed attention and when advising the office was no issue at all. Mike called to discuss and asked if I wanted our two decks washed. I elected to do so. At that time I did let Mike know the first guy scraped up our drive with his trailer hitch.

The decks were done on schedule with most of the dirt and mildew removed. An area under a tree was steered away from out of caution due to the type of tree. A follow up call by the office was made to check on the job and apply payment. I assume Mike forgot to mention the scrapped up drive, I forgot too!

I would absolutely recommend them to friends. They also do other services such as roof power washing, painting and if needed wood repair. I think some things are subbed out with contractors they trust. I will most likely use them again in the Spring.

This is not the first time I've used McKown's and certainly won't be the last. Not only was the house/pool deck/driveway/sidewalk/steps thoroughly cleaned (48 hours after Hurricane Matthew), but Dan was gracious to move some plant pots when I had some physical limitations.

The house is a showcase after they clean it!

I used McKown Pressure Wash services today and my home looks amazing.
They did an outstanding job cleaning
the vinyl siding and even cleaned my porch railing which really makes the house
POP.
There was some moss growing on the shaded side of the house which is now gone.

The company products used did not leave a strong odor of bleach..as I feared it would.

I would highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again.

The good ol' condo association... They come in, inspect your neighborhood and then send you a letter informing you that the reservoir pipe to your AC unit is leaking and you have this rusty stain on the back of your house. Yep, I got the letter and since the referenced house is now a rental (and no one ever looks at the back of my townhome) I had some immediate issues I needed to take care of.

In the letter I was provided the name to McKown Pressure Wash and Painting. I scheduled everything over the phone, provided payment and within 24 hours someone was out cleaning the mess. The job itself was nothing difficult. I could have easily borrowed a pressure washer and done it myself but the hassle and time was worth the $99. I didn't even have to be there nor any of my tenants. They called me to notify me that someone was onsite and called when it was completed to follow up.

A couple snaps were taken before and after and the pics were sent away to my condo association on behalf of McKown. Problem solved.

Very easy to work with and from what I guessed, a timely job completed with no worries while I was busy at work.

I just wanted to say they did an excellent job our house is looking so nice and clean from the pressure washing. We only had one issue and the owner himself went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. I appreciate the niceness and quick response from his office Staff Catherine and the owner himself.
