Lucas Lawn and Yard Care

We have used Lucas Lawn Care for over 20 years. His personal help included design suggestions for yard updates and shrub choices. More recently Ryan and his crews are helping us with replacing our entire drip system and also updating our pathway and tree lighting fixtures.

As much as we love Ryan and his wife's terrific personal help, they also have an extraordinary crew. They are fantastic and careful with handling all aspects of our yard and patio.

After more than 29 years, the entire Lucas Lawn Care team seems like family.

Had 16 tons of gravel delivered & installed. Price was fair. Workers were courteous & responsible as I live across from school. Mr Lucas stopped by regularly during the 5 hours it took to spread gravel. Will use them in future.

We had our front yard and side yard regraveled. They prepped the ground, Installed Weed cloth and distributed all new gravel and sprayed afterwards with weed killer.
The price was very reasonable, they communicated well and did an excellent job. I highly recommend this Company

Ryan was extremely responsive to my ask for 12 tons of rock to be spread in my back yard. He suggested also digging out and resetting the "rivers" (the drainage channels of large river rock) which was a great suggestion as they now look great.

We agreed price and a target timescale a few weeks out and he stuck to it. Ryan arranged the rock drop location with the rock company so I had nothing to do there and his guys showed up on schedule to take care of the spreading.

Ryan and his crew were amazing. He came out next day after initial contact to get measurments and a quote same day. They installed a paver driveway extension up to my RV gate. It went super smooth and all though it was 110 + degrees they were able to start and complete the job in 2 days! I highly recommend if you are looking for quality work here in Arizona.

We have been using Lucas Lawn and Yard Care for almost a year now and have loved the service they provide. Their pricing is very reasonable and they always do a great job with all our plants and trees! Would recommend their services to anyone.

Hired Lucas lawn to trim our 30 foot mesquite and removed a nearly fallen 15 mesquite in our newly purchased house. They did stump removal as well which is why we chose them.
After agreeing to the price they showed up about 3 weeks later with no prior warning. Trimmed and removed the trees causing damage to The surrounding plants and yard lights which I did not know about until getting home after work.
When calling to discuss the damages, instead of taking ownership of the damages or offering any solutions it was quickly dismissed and stated that the damages were not possibly done by the trimmers and that I obviously was crazy. The damages was not extensive, but being dismissed so quickly left a truly bitter taste and I would not recommend them to any family or friends and will not be using them on the future.

I highly recommend Lucas Lawn Care. We worked with Ryan on designing and implementing a very large job at our home (new construction, so NO landscaping so far) Ryan had a lot of great ideas and implemented them perfectly. He always called and/or showed up when he said he would. Very pleasant to work with and his entire team was as good. Negotiated great prices on our behalf with the various vendors and delivered on all of it! We would absolutely use Ryan and Lucas Lawn Care again and plan to in the near future. We are completely satisfied and love our finished product. Thanks Ryan!

Lifelong professional landscapers and family-own/operated business that does amazing work. I used Lucas Lawn to come out an fix a HORRIBLE install done by a different company 4 years ago. This was no small job as I am on an acre of land with 10,000 sq ft of grass.

I was going to rip the entire lawn, sprinklers and everything out. But Ryan, the owner, came up with a much better solution that was less invasive and destructive and SAVED me a TON of money. He not only fixed and updated the irrigation system, HE SAVED THE ENTIRE LAWN AS WELL!

They all wore company shirts, used professional equipment (including trucks and trailers) and kept the job site clean at all times. They have many crews and at times multiple trucks showed up to knock out the work quickly.

I 100% recommend Lucas Lawn for regular maintenance, installs, repairs or just to help out with "head scratching" issues.

Don't waste your time and money like I have - keep looking around for a lawn company that respects its customers and doesn't lie and threaten them.
