What was so refreshing about Lord's was the interesting and different dining options available. So many restaurants are offing a fish, chicken, meat and vegetarian list. That is not the case here. If I stopped here every day for a week (wouldn't that be nice?) I could have a different meal and be sure it was as delicious.

The Curried Lamb Scotch Egg was crunchy, savory and tasty with an intoxicating whiff of curry. The Rabbit Pie was remarkable. The Rabbit was mixed with pancetta, wrapped in Chard and mustard and baked within a beautiful crust. The rich, mushroom cream base was a perfect complement. I loved this dish. The Meyer Lemon Sorbet was exactly the finish I needed after a fabulous meal.

      Food: 6/10
      Service: 8/10
      Ambience: 7/10

      We ordered:
      - oysters kilpatrick
      - grilled scallop & green garlic butter
      - curried lamb scotch egg
      - grilled morels, wild garlic & nettle hollandaise
      - sirloin steak & chips with green peppercorns

We were disappointed because they ran out of their famous burgers by 5:40pm even though they opened at 5:30pm.

We felt like everything EXCEPT the sirloin steak was pretty good (7-8/10). The lamb scotch egg was something I'd enjoy trying once. The scallop and morels were our favorite but in the end we're paying $24 for mushrooms and $14 for 1 buttery piece of scallop...

We waited for the sirloin steak maybe ~30 minutes after we finished the other dishes. It was extremely chewy and basically inedible to me. I only had a few bites because I was so hungry. My date didn't eat anything that day and barely finished the steak. He had stomach issues after dinner...

I would recommend Lord's for the appetizers if you don't mind paying the price. I might try to visit again for the burgers.

Was super excited to try Lord's and honestly left feeling it wasn't worth the hype.

The restaurant is super cute and we thought it was a fun place for date night. Food-wise, our favorite was the scotch egg with a yogurt sauce. We got here early to snag a burger (they only make a limited amount each night.) It was cooked well and we loved the layer of onion, but it was so greasy and my husband felt a little nauseous later from it. It was definitely an over hyped burger in my opinion. The fries were good and perfectly crisp and went well with the dipping sauce.

We also had mixed feelings about the rabbit pie. The pastry part was really good and flaky, but we didn't love the filling and felt there was some sort of odd aftertaste.

Overall, it's a good place if you're in the neighborhood or want some place more casual. But wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it.

Is the Welsh Rarebit Burger worth lining up before they open? The answer is "yes" if you're looking for a well-made burger with a unique spin to it. But more importantly, Lord's offers a variety of British classics with a modern take and other interesting dishes on their ever-evolving menu. The unexpected highlights of our dinner were the Proper English Chips (so good with mayo) and the Rhubarb & Elderberry Choux Pastry.

The ambiance is chic without being too stuffy and service is very much on point. The wine list is extensive and their cocktails offerings are pretty interesting (I loved the Snap Pea Martini). Overall a fabulous experience and I look forward to being a regular at Lord's!

This was a big hyped recently in the city. Being advertised as "only 12 for a night", I always thought it was hunger marketing, therefore I never had a high expectation in it.

However, it was honestly a solid burger. The wheel of white onion did not just make the burger looks interesting, but also give the burger a subtle sweetness and crunchy texture. The patty itself was not overshadowed by the onion, beefy flavor with healthy amounts of juiciness. But, I am still not favoring the hunger marketing part. Wish one day I don't have to one here at 5:30 only for a burger.

Their drinks were nowhere below the burger. I ask the bartender for recommendation, he guides me through how I want my drink and present me a classic cocktail. I am a cocktail enthusiast, so I love how professional they are on helping customers deciding the drink.

I heard Lord's is not only famous for their burgers. After having a look inside, it is a good place to bring your partner here to have a not so casual dinner without loosing fun. Will definitely bring my girlfriend here.

Very happy about most of our dish individually, but all together are quite rich/heavy afterwards, maybe some msg too.

*Bottarga Caesar - the only dish we didn't love, the lettuce was wet, we felt like they didn't pat dry the lettuce after washing it so the dish becomes very watery, odd. Crouton was tasted like it's been fried 10 times lol.

*Pig Head - tender meat in a fried triangle, very good!! crunchy on the outside and tender shredded meat on the inside.

*Grilled Quail - quail was very good, tender and flavorful, but the toast was sorta drowning in a pond of sauce/oil so it felt greasy.

*Duck Pie - enjoyed it as I love pie and I love duck, but it's very very rich, felt heavy even just eating half.

*Rarebit Burger - Couldn't tell what the cheese was but it has this caramelized color. Patty was red but we don't mind it. the raw onion helped to cut the fat. A good burger but also another rich dish.

*English Chips - it was better at Dame.

Dessert menu looks very interesting and delicious but we were so stuffed couldn't eat anymore.

      Service was very good.

I was lucky enough to be able to try the Lord's burger last night after seeing so many rave reviews about it, and it did not disappoint! The meat was very juicy and flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bun was delightfully buttery, and the cheese melted perfectly on top! All in all, a delectable blend of flavors.

The triple cooked fries had an amazing texture of crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. They were served with mayo for dipping, not fancy but oh so good. We also got the rarebit - it was my first time trying rarebit so I don't necessarily have a point of comparison there but I did enjoy it!

Our service was efficient and friendly as well, making it a great experience overall.

If you're lucky enough to be one of the first guests of the evening, the burger is a must!

Very British ambience/vibes, super cute intimate and lovely restaurant. The burger is interesting! Apparently they only make a certain number and when they run out they run out. They don't make any more. So not many people know about it. The cooked oysters were interesting. Not my cup of tea but something different to try. I now know that I prefer raw oysters. The scallops were amazing! I also had some kind of meat in a pie. I can't remember what it's called but that was very delicious and homey. Dessert was my favorite part. The chocolate cake was spectacular. I would definitely order that when I go back and try all the other desserts. I felt like I was visiting nanna in the UK. It was such a cozy comfy time eating warm comfort foods. It can get pretty loud in some areas of the restaurant depending on where you're sitting and you're close together with people.

Went on a food journey last night at Lords (recently named one of the best new restaurants in America by Eater).

I read someone say "expect to try something new at Lord's" and what a perfect way to describe this experience. The dining atmosphere is perfectly elevated yet still maintaining a casualness that you could wear jeans to.

All of the dishes are unique but stay true to British food culture. They also all have an air of being 'delicate', but maybe that lends itself from the plate ware. Everything was on the saltier side, but my palette loves sodium.

      I loved everything I tried:
      - curry lamb scotch egg, perfectly spiced, delicately breaded. Tender but holds its own. Perfectly runny egg.
      - delicate squash, persimmon & goat cheese salad (I was OBSESSED with this salad, I cleaned my plate!)
      - duck pie, SUPER rich but very yummy. I recommend splitting this with someone. It is very tender and not as gamey as one would think.
      - apple crumble & honey ice cream, this suited my fall tastebuds so well. The crumble is the perfect blend of salty/ sweet, the ice cream is so light and yummy. It was delicious.
-banoffee choux bun, yes I tried two desserts but I had to!! This was good and I think this is their signature dessert, it was good and I'd order it again but the apple crumble took it home for me.

Service was outstanding. They are just friendly and attentive enough to make you feel welcome but you don't feel like you're being watched for turn of service. Exceptional.

All that to say, add Lord's to your wishlist because it was an a pleasant surprise.
