Highly recommend Shae! Not only is she a fantastic hairstylist, from start to finish she makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. She cut a lot of my hair off, about 4 inches and I was nervous but WOW, when she was done, I can't even express how grateful I am for how well she took what I wanted and went above and beyond! And an amazing hair wash massage on top of that . Thank you, Shae!

Boy, did I learn a lesson the hard way! I came to this salon after dropping $1000 at another for a failed color correction. After 8 months with Let Em Have It and 6 appointments between two of their stylists adding up to another $1000 dropped, they have dropped ME as a client.
I asked for gray and black blending, and all I got session after session was disappointment and guarantee that the next session "we'd get there." Every time I go, I buy the product they tell me to use because that'd what will help my hair for our next appointment.
My last session was a toner session where they accidentally turned my hair green. When I came back to get it fixed, the stylist said the new toner didn't work, so they had to tone again and ran out of time to finish or dry my hair. I wish I could say that was the first time I had been asked to return to the salon for them to fix their work. After I got home and saw my hair dry, I burst into tears at the damage and color. The hair we had worked so hard to lighten was now warm brown.
Anyway, I sent an email asking for help, for either 50% refund on all the services I've continually paid for since I was told they would eventually get me the results we kept agreeing upon, or to have my next session in November be free of charge so they can finally once and for all fix my hair. They chose to refund me just for the services (not the product or tip) for my last visit - a whopping $130, and part ways with me.
So I spent all this time being catfished into thinking these folks would finally get me the hair I so want. They promised each time, after looking at my inspo pictures, that we could achieve it, and they NEVER did. I have been SO gracious with everything, no one can deny that. I never once got sassy until now. Now my hair is damaged, short, blotchy, and brown four months before my wedding.
The pictures below are of my initial inspo and what I'm left with after all my patience with Let Em Have It.

Word of advice, don't pay if you're not satisfied. My hairstylist was very kind and great to talk to but,
I received a haircut that looks nothing like I asked for. I didn't feel comfortable telling the stylist and trying talking to the manager the next day via phone call and email. I kept referring to the photos when she asked my thoughts through our session.
For an expensive haircut, you'd hope for it to be somewhat the same. I called and asked for accommodations, mostly any type of refund, but they offered to cut my hair more (which would only make me farther from the product). Spoke with manager and owner, and they both said those cuts are the same as my photos. Well maybe I'm wrong but I'll let you see for yourself. To achieve a symmetrical curtain bang, the amount of hair and length you have on either side also needs to be symmetrical . Literally just walked out so this is an extremely fresh review. WOW I had such a great experience here with Shae. I felt so listened to, so heard, so cared for, and so taken care of. Everyone who came in while I was in seemed the same: at ease, heard, understood, and genuinely excited with their services. I'm really grateful for this place, this experience, and especially Shae! Went in for my first ever curly cut and am loving the results!! Kelly was so patient, skilled, and informative and gave me not only a great cut but also the confidence and knowledge to nurture my curls. Such a kind and welcoming environment - I will absolutely be back!

I have been to this salon now probably 5 or 6 times. I can literally say I have an amazing experience everything I am here. I have had at least 4 different stylist and everyone of them are wonderful. I always get what I want plus more. If you are looking for a new salon to call home I highly recommend Let Em Have It. It won't matter what stylist you get, they will be amazing! I drive 30 minutes from Aurora to come here and I refuse to go anywhere else!

Sep 21, 2019Previous reviewBy far the best salon I have been too. Everyone was so incredibly nice. My hair stylist Lia was amazing!!! We had genuine conversation while she worked on my hair. When I went it I couldn't stand my hair, when I walked out my hair felt like it was worth a million bucks!! They offer you a drink when you walk in and they do everything they can to make you comfortable and relaxed. The entire salon is spotless!! They were constantly cleaning when they finished with something.

I cannot say enough good things about, Lia and this salon! Today Lia did a root touch up, peachy rose gold tone, and shag razor cut. I have fine/thick hair, so I'm always worried about technique (is this going to split my ends and leave my hair dull and damaged?!!). Needless to say, she blew all expectations out of the water and gave me the hair of my dreams!

Lovely concept. Many buzz words, inclusivity, equality, sustainability... Not so great execution. I'm Latina, I was not welcomed here and their staff insinuated I didn't want to pay for services, because all Latinos are poor, you know? Maybe you'll find this place great, if you are one of those who don't see color.

Jessica, we are saddened that you say race was factored into the conversations we had especially since we have Latino team members along with many clients of all races. No one on our team ever insinuated that you did not want to pay for services, all we said was that we needed 60 minutes for your haircut instead of the 45 minute service you booked online. When we reached out to let you know we needed more time than that (based on stylist recommendation after cutting your hair multiple times) you argued that you always need less than 45 minutes which is not true. The reason we told you that we do not feel this is a good fit anymore is because you were arguing with our booking procedures and became defensive with us. We treat everyone who enters into our space with love and respect and we expect the same. We do not tolerate any customer who wants to argue with our team because we believe in finding resolution through respectful communication. We wish you the best in finding your next salon.
