Local place that has beautiful items and everything you would need for the yard! And they are quality items too! Jim Jenkins is our go to place for anything we would need for gardening and lawn care.

My patience was running thin with this quarantine, and when it finally partially lifted the first place I went into was Jim Jenkins. What a wonderful and calm environment. The inventory, whether you are shopping big or little, flowers or veggies, trees or water plants, is extensive. I've since made my second trip there to "fill in the blanks" in my garden space. I am already planning my fall garden and you can be sure I'll be heading back there. Oh, and as a delightful aside--this garden center has chickens. So that was a wonderful little find when we turned a corner.

This place is fantastic. I was assisted by a man named Bob who was helpful, professional and kind. Highly recommend this place!

I placed an order and it was supposed to be delivered they didn't show up for delivery and wouldn't call back for days. Every time we called it went straight to their voicemail and then finally the owner Jim Jenkins called us back And lied and told us that he called us. We waited over a week to get a delivery date and then one day after our delivery date he told us that He is gonna cancel the delivery. And he wouldn't even set up a new order date for us. My fiance was so kind to everyone that she spoke to there. She has asthma and with covert 19 we had to have these things the liver'd and they told us it was no problem now we can't even get our products and it's too late to get products at other places. What a terrible company

I can not fathom what the owner of this place did to me. I wanted to purchase a tree that they clearly did not want to actually sell. They gave me 2 totally different outrageous delivery prices. After I came back to purchase the tree after finding my own delivery, the owner talked bad about me and my wife to everyone in the building right in front of me! After confronting him about talking about us he went inside while the guys were loading up my tree and came out and gave me a refund slip and said I don't want to sell the tree any longer because it's actually worth more money. He is unbelievably unprofessional and I can't even believe a place with this kind of owner is even in business. Please, please, please take your business elsewhere to people that appreciate your business because these people unfortunately do not appreciate your business or treat people kindly or respectfully. Not to mention, while I was in there, there was an employee in tears because of the way that Jim was degrading her. Extremely unprofessional place and I hate that I even have to give it 1 star!

How I made it out of here without spending an entire paycheck and redoing my entire yard is beyond me... This place is awesome. I love a locally owned lawn and garden center so after driving past Jim Jenkins several times, I figured it was time to stop in. The location/parking lot can be tricky to get into and out of because Painters Run is a busy road, but there was a police officer there stopping traffic so that customers could get in or out.

This place is slightly deceiving from the road. I thought it was just a small little garden shop and wasn't sure if I'd find the clay pots I was looking for. Holy cannoli was I wrong. This is the Energizer Bunny of lawn and garden stores. It just kept going and going and going and going. I found the clay pots and a whole lot more that I didn't have space (or budget) for. The prices are fairly reasonable, the pots I was looking for were $2.99 and the saucer was $1.99. I also found a decorative one that's rather unique compared to what you'd find at one of those "big box" stores for a mere $6.99.

I thought I was done shopping until I saw the huge selection of pre-sprouted veggies and herbs. I poked around there for a good bit before reminding myself that I'd just be feeding the infamous deer of Mt. Lebanon and not myself if I purchased any. On my way to the cashier, I stopped to check out their variety of succulents that were potted in adorable little planters... realizing that the aforementioned deer would not eat these, I grabbed one for my patio and silently told myself that my work here was done. The total for my four items was $24 which I didn't think was bad at all. I love shopping local and this place is just awesome. They also have plenty of items that would be great for gift-giving.

The people that run this place are extremely rude and unprofessional. My husband and I stopped in here looking to spend a good bit of money on our front lawn. The owner couldn't help us and said his wife would be in touch.......she never contacted us. Needless to say we went elsewhere.
It's also very tiny and not much room to move around - they have junk crammed everywhere. Parking is an absolute nightmare.
      Spend your money elsewhere!!!!!!!

They did an awesome job! Had contracted with another company (that came with a good recommendation) who at the last minute cancelled the job.
I contacted Jim Jenkins the gentleman(Jon) looked over the property, gave me an estimate(two thirds the cost of the other company) and was able to do it with a week(other contractor was a 4 week wait).
The crew was always courteous and answered my probably what sounded like continuous questions and got the job done in an efficient manner.
The neighbors, who all keep their lawns in good condition said they need to "step up to the plate" and get theirs looking better.
Thank you again for such a good job!

Extremely rude and horrible customer service. Shop anywhere else! Jim Jenkins is very rude and doesn't follow through with his orders or deliveries.

Keep in mind I am not a garden aficionado by any means, so this review might not be very knowledgable. All I know is that I had a friendly worker help me pick out some flowers. And now they're planted in my garden and look lovely.

I went over to the vegetable side, which was slim pickings. The dude I asked about the veggies wasn't as friendly as the chick from the flowers. I guess flowers make people happier.

While I do think it was pretty expensive, I did buy perennials for my whole front facing garden. So now I won't have to bother with it again.

I'd be interested to see whet their veggie selection was like earlier in the spring. Oh we'll, always next year!
