My mother lives in McCook and we've stayed almost every hotel in town at one time or another, but as the most expensive (and new) motel in McCook we decided to give it a try.

As mentioned it's probably only a few years old, on the highway going North of town. Building it in front of a irrigation pipe storage yard was an interesting choice, but it's close to a shopping center and other restaurants. Don't plan to be able to walk downtown from here though.

It's got modern decor and the lobby is laid out nicely. Not sure about the kiosk stand as a check in desk, but hey it's hip. The desk guy had some problems explaining how their wireless worked, but we finally figured it out on our own. The room though...as others have mentioned was not well cleaned. Beds and carpet was fine, but the bathroom had been neglected from a cleaning and a maintenance perspective.

Breakfast was the standard Courtyard/Hampton type meal; a couple of reheated main dishes, a few pieces of fruit...you know the rest.

Our impression? I'm sure it was a nice hotel when it was built, but it appears to have been poorly maintained. It's still in the top five in McCook, but for the premium you pay for a room here it's not worth it.

Won't even rate this hotel as owners don't care for normal or IHG customers. Since COVID they have 2-4x market up products from any store at customers expense. The room are dirty and even have crap stains in toilet along with dirty towels. If you get anything as food you will pay 4x as before no where to go and their greed takes advantage of that. Stay somewhere else as customers service, food and rooms will be nicer and cheaper.

Clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Stay in hotels several times a month and would recommend this one.

The Positive: The room was clean, and the King Bed was comfy with nice pillows. The free breakfast was good (great selection). The sweet lady who ran the breakfast room was helpful, courteous and attentive. The maintenance man Jack who helped me find the Ice machine was delightful.

The Negative: The refillable Conditioner bottle was empty, and the tissue box had four tissues. The alarm clock that we unplugged intentionally, alarmed at 6:30am and woke us up (including tot who then refused to go back to sleep.) The staff at front desk didn't know where the ice machines were, morning manager was like a deer in headlights when I shared the room issues (in a very friendly way).

This location was brand new. Everything was in order, clean and spotless! Very nice, wonderful staff. We had to leave early but wanted to have breakfast before we left, but they said it didn't open until 7:00. We got downstairs at 6:45 and it was all ready to go!! They had a full buffet breakfast that was fresh and hot. We were greeted with smiles. The type of customer service is really appreciated! We will stay here again our next trip around!

Very clean and modern as opposed to other hotels and motels in town. Beds were comfortable and it is quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. They have a nice work out facilities but the hotel sits next to a neighborhood, so we did our exercise in the surrounding neighborhoods and everyone was very nice.

I believe the staff needs recognized, they make a nice hotel a nicer place. The hotel manager Dan, was fabulous. He is very accommodating, genuinely nice, and very helpful. The evening staff was also very accommodating, you can tell the management has great control of this place, so thank you Mr Dan for your knowledge and experience. We will be back and know of a great place stay. We will make referrals.

      Best Regards
