Q:
Do you have any floor medallions on hand in the store for sale and what are the price ranges?
A:
Nicole, thank you for thinking of Pomona Valley Habitat. We get new deliveries all the time so I would probably be better if you called the store 909 339 0202 and ask them directly… more

Hodge podge. To be expected right?
They have 0, and I mean absolutely no customer service. The ladies stand around and chat amongst themselves and gossip.
The layout of the store is ok. They have so much random stuff here and the prices are a bit high in my opinion.
I bought a stapler, a joke book and a pot for a plant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steve M.Rancho Cucamonga, CA142May 17, 2023Updated review
We'll, I hate to write this discouraging review of a charity's store, but after 15 years of shopping at Pomona Valley's Habitat for Humanity Restore, today, will be the last time I do.
Today was the 25% Senior Discount, 10% everyday, but it wasn't to be. Seems there are new rules to get the discount. When I asked where those new rules were posted, I was directed to a statement on the wall that said, "Discounts are subject to change without notice." The nice older women in front of me didn't see that either and didn't understand why the 3' by 4' sign in the window announcing the discount didn't apply to her.
New rule is, you have to purchase at least $20 to get it. So sad. Bait and switch on older adults who find those tactics used on them by larger companies, not expecting that treatment at a charity they've likely supported for decades.
If I was a member of the BOD for this charity, I would be ashamed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 2, 2016Previous reviewWonderful place to find a unique home repair item or a piece of furnishing for the guest room. Love to shop there. Also, great place to volunteer.

I have recently lost my husband in the past 18 months and forced me to downsize to a townhouse. The townhouse had all appliances included. I had put my appliances and a few other very nice items in storage because I couldn't use them. A friend suggested to give then to Habitat. The donation went very smoothly. Shout outs to Rick (driver) and Monica (in the store). They were very kind and sympathetic and helpful. I applaud the charity and wish them the best. I feel blessed and want to be a blessing to others.

Had to take pictures ahead of time and then when the driver arrived alone he told me that they won't take the upholstered furniture.
Stupid customer service, to ignorant to inform me ahead of time.
Now I have to scramble to pay a junk dealer to haul it away.
The driver Rick was very efficient and super politeHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stina M.Covina, CA917525Apr 24, 2023
Good place to find great priced goods for home. Most furniture is secondhand. Other products are left over materials from contractors and some are probably overstocked items.

This place will surprise you as soon as you step in. Not only does it have affordable, a lot of the times new, but also appealing furniture that doesn't look like it's on its last leg. Walking down the aisles you'll find items you've long forgotten were needed and a random assortment of items to finish or fix that project you've been putting off. All in all, def recommend if you happen to pass by one or live near enough to one.

Smaller than before with worst/no service.
My 78 year old disabled mother asked if she could use their bathroom and she answered "no bathroom".
I asked where the closest bathroom was and she said CVS pharmacy.
We hopped in the car only to find out that CVS does not have public bathrooms.
Thank goodness Starbucks accross the street saved the day.
Would be nice to empathize with clients and help a disabled elderly woman who has "got to go" instead of sending her on a wild good chase. Maybe she should wonder how she'd feel if someone treated her mother this way!...
Maybe the name should be changed -- there is no humanity in this store!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Marlene W.San Fernando Valley, CA20231158May 15, 2021
This location is smaller than some of the other stores that I have been to. Overall, it is neat and clean. I did not find anything that I wanted. Things were dated and over priced. The prices have changed a lot over the years. In this location, like the the others there have a mixture of new items and gently used items.
I used to really love coming to Habitat for Humanity Restore. Lately, it's just kind of sucked.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alexandra E.San Dimas, CA05Jul 30, 2021
I always appreciate any outfit that helps us recycle instead of filling garbage dumps.
Habitat does what a lot of us won't. They sift through mountains of donations to find useful hardware and goods to raise money to help those that need it.
They were very nice and happy to take our donation of unused hardware that could be resold.
I was sorry to see how much garbage people drop off, but so appreciative of their efforts to recycle and resell.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Hannah W.Pomona, CA043Apr 28, 2022
First time ever coming here and was blown away. I got the grey lounger for $87!! They are moving down the street so all the furniture is 50% off right now. There are soooo many cute sofas- like the green velvet one of the photo. Definitely worth stopping by and possibly leaving with a great deal.
