They have a solid 5 stars for a damn good reason! Baruch and Go Green Tax is beyond awesome!! He helped us out with filing some back returns we never got around to filing as well as our most recent 2016. He made it so simple; bring in EVERYTHING you have, he'll sift through it all, let you know what you have that he can work with, and other paperwork that you need to double check around the house for to see if he can get you more money back. Then he goes to work trying his best to save you money and save you money he does! Especially compared to trying to do them yourself or using one of those subservient tax places.

He's very easy to talk to, makes you feel right at home and the guy is funny! When I was working with him it felt like I was at my buddy's. I just love how honest and straight forward he is. And man he knows his stuff when it comes to taxes...and football lol

He might seem a little pricey compared to H & R Block or one of those "other" tax places but it's like having a ribeye steak vs a McD burger! You're definitely getting what you pay for! He is hands down one of the best tax guys I've dealt with to date and will definitely be visiting next Jan for 2017's return. I can't recommend them enough if you need your taxes done or for any other service they may offer! You know you're in good hands when working with Baruch and Go Green!

Baruch and the rest of the team were such a pleasure to work with. They did a fabulous job with handling a whole host of services for my S-Corp business and personal account -- including bookkeeping with Quickbooks, payroll for my employees, tax preparation, and tax filings.

Not only was it an enjoyable experience interacting with Baruch and the team (my first of such an experience in the accounting world), but they absolutely nailed my tax deductions and earned me an unexpectedly high return.

I really hate having to write this review. In general I try to use Yelp for good, and in only the most extreme cases--as shown by my post history--will I leave a one-star review. I do not take the power of Yelp lightly.

But as much as I like Baruch, he failed my husband and I, as well as my business, terribly.

How? He never filed our taxes. Repeated emails starting in November of 2017 to get prepared for April went unanswered. He'd occasionally respond with semi-apologies ("I took on too much this year") or attempts at placating us, but April came and went with no Baruch in site. We filed our own extensions and emailed again to set up time to prepare for the next deadline.

It's now almost October. My billing department and bookkeeper finally gave Baruch a deadline of Monday at noon to respond or we'd have to go elsewhere. The email was sent with plenty of time to respond.

Nothing. Not a peep. This was four weeks ago, and he has never taken the time to write back.

We've gone elsewhere--we found a firm with a very hands-on approach, which is super reassuring after being ignored for ten months--and I feel I owe it to the Yelp-verse to update my previous 5-star review, so others can make an educated decision when searching for a CPA.

There is not enough space available on Yelp to say how much I appreciate the staff at Go Green Tax. I've been coming to this place for a couple years now and Baruch has gone above and beyond. His staff is efficient and understanding. They totally made me feel comfortable. They also are very responsive by email and phone, which I appreciate since I travel and am very busy during tax season. I've even able to upload tax stuff to a secured portal which is so convenient for me.

He and his staff have been there for me when it came to answering all of my questions, especially during one of the toughest times of my life. And trust me when I say I ask a lot of questions. When it comes to taxes, it can be very confusing. However like any diligent person, you will try and do as much research as you can to understand what is needed.

When it came to doing my taxes after a terrible divorce, Baruch helped me understand what I needed to do to protect my assets and how to file taxes for my home, business and income.

The people on the staff here will help you as much as possible and will match YOUR effort. People need to understand that during tax season it's very busy for this business. It saves both you and the tax team time and money when you have all of the correct financial information/documents in order when it comes time to see them. This is so that they can do the job they know how to do best, helping you file your taxes in an efficient and correct manner. And if I were to be blunt: be respectful of people's time so don't waste any face to face appointment time if you don't have your paperwork in order.

Time and time again, Baruch has been my go to tax guy for so many reasons. I trust his work and his staff. If you want someone that goes straight to the point, this guy is for you.

I had a video conference meeting with Clifton on April 3 to go over my tax filing and everything went smoothly and seemed great.

Fast forward to April 27th, I have not heard anything from Clifton or the GoGreenTax team regarding my filing. I thought my taxes would be filed by the typical April 15 tax deadline, nothing had been said it may be pushed back to the new July 15th deadline.

I reached out via email to ask for an update on the status of my tax filing - no response (email sent April 27). I followed up with another email on May 8 - no response. Another email on June 4 - no response. Tried calling today (June 15) no one is answering. Sent another email..

I really need to know if my taxes will be filed in time for the July 15th deadline... If they are not capable of doing their job I need to know NOW so I can find another alternative.

I understand we are in unprecedented times but there is no excuse for neglecting to respond to client inquiries.

Our business is a repeat client of Baruch's. Many calls and emails with no response. We signed an engagement letter in January 2020, its now July 14 the day before tax day and we have no idea if our taxes are being filed. The CPA board will probably want to know about this.

If Baruch sold a shirt saying "I Heart Baruch", I'd totally wear it.

I was referred to Baruch of Go Green Tax just a few months before the craziness of tax season. We had a great first conversation and he graciously took me on as a client when a few other CPAs said they were totally booked.

My taxes aren't that straightforward these days. I do a lot of contracting, moved to a new state, have a startup, and work for a company. Years of using Turbotax took a toll and my taxes were a mess.

Baruch spent a lot of time and several meetings to not only fully understand my current tax situation, but to also amend years of returns, all the way back to 2013. It turns out he found thousands of dollars of overpaid taxes and money owed to me. woo hoo!

As tax season was fully underway, Baruch got slammed and was burning the midnight oil. He was very communicative, and he let me know how busy he was, assuring me everything will be done in time. I appreciate the sheer honesty. We even met after office hours to file everything properly.

I'm very happy with how everything turned out. Baruch is down to earth guy who knows his stuff when it comes to taxes, tax law and finance. I have a huge peace of mind that all my previous returns and my current return are filed properly and handled by such a professional.

Baruch took a considerable amount of time discussing our needs. I had trouble finding an accountant that would work with bitcoins and he is my man. He is willing to study and work to educate himself.

I look forward to this future business relationship. I find him professional, honest, and approachable.

Baruch was nothing but lip service, and admitted he wasn't capable of doing my taxes. I turned over my documents in October, Baruch told me several times the taxes were completed and "I don't know why you can't open the file" only to start asking more question's in July, and finally telling me he "needed another set of eyes" to look at the taxes after they were complete. My business suffered greatly. Late filling fees, and my loan expired so I had to pay huge penalties and interest because you can not refinance without current taxes. I hired another firm that takes my business and time seriously, this was a nightmare.

When the IRS came after me for over $13K worth of erroneous back taxes, Baruch got the problem fixed in a few weeks after other tax specialists had struggled with it for months. He helped me file for education claims and procure necessary missing documents from various third parties.

10/10 would recommend again
