One of the service vans owned by this company pulled out in front of me on 110 headed back to Tyler from Nac. I just wanted to go the speed limit; trying to get to the pharmacy to pick up pain meds for my 89 father who has advanced cancer. This Et Texas leak finder employe never sped up to 40 and I was stuck behind him for 50 minutes. when there was a space to pull over a bit to let me pass on the dark windy road, i flashed my lights. He slowed down to 20 for at least 15 minutes, a very aggressive move. i did not make it to the pharmacy so it will be a rough night at my house. Wonder if he was on the clock? I emailed the owner and left a voicemail. I have waited a month but no response. Will never give them my business again. And yes, I have in the past. And no, they did not find the leak. And yes, they did charge me after blasting holes in my foundation. American Plumbers found it on the first try.

East Texas Leak Locators was recommended by a friend. They did not disappoint! They showed up quick, found the leak the other guys couldn't, and helped us with our insurance adjuster! They had our water back on in no time.

Sometimes plumbers are hard to get quickly where I live, but I called this company late on Monday and they came to my office Tuesday Morning. They had to drive from Tyler, Texas to Teague, Texas, which is about a two hour drive. Ken (who answers the phone) was very helpful and courteous, as were the young men who came out. They quickly located the problem and fixed it. One of the young men on site, Logan, was a guitarist with extensive knowledge of Classic Rock. During the waiting periods in the search for the leak, we had a really good discussion. His associate was also very nice.

I was referred to East Texas Leak Locators by a very trusted local plumber that I initially called reference a potential foundation leak. I spoke to the business owner Ron at 11:30 AM. He committed to having a crew on site as soon as they cleared their lunch. Ninety minutes later two professionally dressed technicians, Michael and Ernesto arrived. Within twenty minutes they had the leak located and proceed to jackhammer their way through my bathroom floor. The copper pipe's pinhole leak was exactly below the hole they bored. The only portion of the floor that I needed to replace following their repaired of the foundation, was a single 12" by 12" ceramic tile. The technicians were professional, friendly, more than willing to respond to all of my questions. They worked quickly and cleanly. Other than a missing floor tile and the obviously wet concrete in its place, one would have never known that they were here. The bill was exactly what they quoted and the whole job took only two hours. While I hope I will never experience another leak in my foundation piping, if I do, East Texas Leak Locators will be my first call.

Love to give an actual review of the service, but Ken totally just blew me off. Made an appointment, never showed, and ignored my calls. He answered the phone immediately when we called from a different number, but didn't answer that one again either after the first call. I understand getting busy, things come up, whatever. It's super easy to just tell someone that so they can make other plans. Great customer service bro!

Although this business was recommended to us by friends, we discovered that the way they do business is not customer friendly. It took three appointments for them to show up the first time. Then after two calls and three weeks of waiting to schedule significant work with no call backs from East Texas Leak Locators, we went a different way and hired a different plumber. Our project was done and complete with 30 feet of our interior floor dug up, drain fixed and floor restored, new floor installed when we got a call from East Texas Leak Locators crew asking if they could "start tomorrow". The only call we ever received after the initial examination to find our drain leak. The owner never called and never showed any interest in getting our business. Although he claims to have called, no messages were left on our phones. You don't start this kind of job with half a day warning. We had to empty our kitchen and living/dining room and pack the rooms up. You just do not do business the way this company does.
