This is a recommendation for an excellent Neuro-Muscular Massage Therapist in Decatur, Georgia. Deborah Tawil, a Neuro-Muscular Massage Therapist worked on my 'deformed' leg muscles to prepare them to walk well after my hip surgery, making my recovery as comfortable and PAINLESS as possible. Starting a year in advance of surgery, I asked her to see me weekly to retrain both of my legs muscles in preparation for my new hip joint. I felt that my 'deformed' walking due to the damaged and painful hip joint should be ready for a new experience after surgery. I heard that I would be instructed to walk only a couple of hours after surgery. My friend, Beth, said that when I walked for the first time across the hospital floor my posture was perfect. My back was straight for the first time in years. And I was completely pain-free! I will again prepare my leg muscles for my other hip replacement! Deborah Tawil understands how the body works and works at your pace and on your terms. She is kind, focused, and knowledgeable in her professionalism.
