Cedar Rose Massage/ Paula Rathbun

I first met Paula a few years ago, shortly after I had twisted my hip bone out of place. She was working at the Sol Duc resort that day and I told her about my injury before she gave me the massage. She was giving massages mainly to people who just wanted to relax, and was excited to have something to fix. I had been going to a chiropractor and wasn't making much progress. L&I only covered a certain amount of massages at the chiro clinic, so we had to pay out of pocket for extra massage. Looked around without much luck, then I was blessed and found Paula. She was (and still is) very knowledgeable about the body. In an hour and a half she had made more progress than several weeks of chiropractic and a different massage therapist had. I had been in excruciating pain and could barely sit down. I went back several times, and finally had almost total relief from the pain. I swear Paula has magical hands. Almost every massage relaxed me to the point where I was in some kind of LA LA land. Not quite asleep, and not quite awake.

I recently went to her place, Cedar Rose, and though I hadn't been to her in a little over a year, she remembered how I like my massage. My hip went out a bit again about a month ago, and guess who I get a postcard from...Paula Rayburn. Talk about timing. So, anyways, I am back to seeing her. She is a little over an hour away from us, but she is so well worth the drive.

Excellent massage. Gentle and very effective. Loved the use of heat packs as part of the therapy.
