A:
Good evening, Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4:00-7:00 at the bar and lounge only.
Gregory R., Business ManagerÂ5 months agoQ:
Is parking convenient?
A:
Not really. It's on the main drag so parking is at a premium. I suggest a nice walk, depending on where you're staying, unless, of course you plan to go across the street to the beach afterwards (or before). In that case there are parking garages… more

Our supper was absolutely fabulous along with our service by Trevor. One of his recommendation was the blackened grouper over coconut curry rice, and he was dead on. This meal is a flavor explosion. We can't wait to come back and try his other recommendations. Honestly, best server we have had our trip.

Our waiter Mike was incredible. Provided great options and kept our party going with a great attitude. Spicy scallops were really good and the mahi mahi with crab was amazing.

Another year of our 10 year tradition of visiting Casablanca every time we come to our timeshare, Marriott Beach Place Towers. Tonight, we are here for their happy hour. What an amazing happy hour! We got our favorite martini, Bombay Sapphire, shaken not stirred, for $6. The cheap bites were good, too.
We also like their lunches and dinner. They are a Moroccan restaurant, but they have a broad menu. The ambiance of the restaurant reminds me of the movie, Casablanca.
Cabe was our server. He went beyond the call of duty and took a couple of pictures of the 4 of us. He shakes a mighty good martini, too.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Thanks Sharon - so glad you come by and that you enjoyed everything!
Dec 11, 2021Previous reviewWe eat at Casablanca every time we are in Ft Lauderdale. Eleven years ago, the hotel concierge warned us to watch out for all the many sidewalk cafes that have the giant drinks. She said most of them had poor quality food and drink. She steered us to Casablanca and it is so good that it's been a part of our vacations since.
The service is superb and the good is delicious. The food at Casablanca is not just delicious, but also unique. They have all the usual dishes on the menu and a few unusual ones. We love sitting on the patio that overlooks the ocean when it's still daylight. At night, we enjoy the inside of the restaurant, which like their food is unique. I looks like it may have been a house because the rooms are small. It's a cozy dining experience.
They have a terrific happy hour with quality liquor and discounted appetizers. I don't recommend the calamari. I think it is prepared Moroccan style. It's not the crispy fried calamari we expected. Everything else is wonderful! They have an inside/outside bar. You can see the ocean from the outdoor end. Inside, you feel like you are in the real Casablanca. It's a tough choice.
You can't leave Ft Lauderdale without trying this wonderful restaurant. - Leah P.Casselberry, FL03653Apr 22, 2024Updated review
Picked this spot based on the Yelp reviews and pictures of the food. Have to say, this is a nice little gem to find while we were looking to recover from the Tortuga Music Festival. Just a short walk from our hotel, we walked up to the sights of this cute little place.
Located right next to the beach, you can choose to sit on the outside patio area, bar or inside - wherever you choose is guaranteed to provide some good views. Romantic enough for a date but also casual enough for a Sunday brunch with the girls.
The food was delicious and actually pretty affordable for what we got. My boyfriend and I split the calamari, house salad and seafood pasta. Calamari was perfectly battered and the aoli was a nice touch to dip it in. The marinara was tasty, but was a bit watered down, so it just missed the texture needed to properly compliment the fresh calamari, in my opinion. That is a downfall for me too because the seafood pasta also had the red watery sauce... Don't get me wrong, the seafood pasta is hands-down the way to go still, but I just prefer a more hearty sauce. Flavor profile of the seafood was so delicious! The sauce is, although watery, still a nice mix with the pasta and seafood. Since the dish was being split between 2, we opted to add more shrimp, which was the right call. We both felt satisfied with the portion size. Honestly, I think that the amount of protein with the extra shrimp should be the amount they should use regularly. Without it, I'd say this dish may be a little on the wimpy side due to the amount of pasta with it. For the price, you really get a wonderful value for this kind of freshly prepared seafood dish.
TIPS: If you are planning on going on a Sunday for mimosas (like we did), make sure you sit at the bar! They have unlimited for $15, but you have to sit in the right place... Our tab was $60 in mimosas alone because we did not realize this! Don't let your 'buzz' get killed by this, like we did! Haha!
In addition to the watery sauce, I have to take a jab at the speed of service. It was fairly busy, so the wait in between drinks and food was reasonable, but it took way too long to wait for our tab, get it ran and returned. Last thing I want to do after paying way too much for mimosas, is wait to pay for my mimosas so I can leave, ya know? So, for those things, I had to dock a star from my review.
Overall, I'd say I would definitely come back next time I'm in town! The view alone is a vibe I could jam with, but the look of all the other food around me has me already thinking about what I'll get next time... And how many mimosas I'm going to indulge in at the $15 rate to make up for my little oversight this go-around! See you another time soon, Casablanca Cafe.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 14, 2019Previous reviewPicked this spot based on the Yelp reviews and pictures of the food. In beautiful Ft. Lauderdale for work retreat . The team decided to leave the hotel for a little sight seeing. We ran across the cutest restaurant with the perfect view of the beach. We started with appetizers of salad, mussels, and ceviche. Everyone was satisfied with their choices. I decided on the scallops and was not disappointed. They weee cooked to perfection, an amazing glaze and some of the best mashed potatoes I've had in a while.

Five stars for the food, location and venue, amazing as usual... sadly as usual the service was terrible. Outside in nealy 90 degree weather for Mother's Day with my 79 year old mom, had to ask 5x before our water showed up halfway through our entrees.
Asked when we arrived, asked again when they were out of our bottle wine, asked when they brought the app, asked when the entrees arrived and asked again when the waiter finally checked in.
Insult to injury, check out took forever and the host was clueless when we came back after my mom left her purse at the table (shocker it was still at the table).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 25, 2024

Our last official meal in Fort Lauderdale before returning to the frozen tundra known as our home was a good one! We had walked by a couple times during our brief stay and each time Casablanca Cafe was hopping!
While the place was a bit too busy for us to snag a table outside without a wait, we found it fun and cozy inside and that didn't dampen our spirits one bit. Michael S took great care of us and we really wanted for nothing during our stay.
I went with the French Toast and it was a no frills kind of dish in terms of presentation, but it was very tasty and frankly, that's where it counts. Everyone enjoyed their food and we were all distinguished members of the Clean Plate Club when the meal concluded.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Karla H.Baltimore, MD2119May 12, 2024
This review is long over due. While visiting Fort Lauderdale on an impromptu trip, I booked a last min place to stay upon landing. The Snooze Hotel was located right next door to this wonderful place, and even presented me w two drink coupons to try this cafe after I had inquired about a nice local eatery. I happened to go during happy hour and boy let me tell you! The happy hour was happy houring! The bar staff were fantastic and the happy hour menu was nice and inexpensive offering a nice mix of cocktails and small bites. I ordered all of the small bites offered with the exception of the escargot and pizza ( I did not have room for them). The food and drinks were so delicious that I forgot to take pics of everything.
