Yes, but it is metered street parking. It is plentiful. The restaurant recommends parking on Broadway, just north of the restaurant.

So came back to Brassheart because we just had the most amazing experience the first time and we chose it to celebrate my birthday. Whilst the food was almost exactly the same which was fine, I thought that the wine pairings this time were not as good. The whites especially towards the end of the meals were way to sweet for my taste. I'm glad the restaurant was full as I do think it is a great restaurant but the service this time was not as good. We sat down at 7.30 and by 8.30 we had only had 2 courses. We left the restaurant at 12.20am. The wine was poured before the course was served which is fine but then you were then waiting some 15 mins for your course by which most of the wine was gone. They did speed it up towards the end of the night. Funnily enough the couple next to us arrived over an hour after us and by the end, they had caught up to our courses.
I really hope the slow service was maybe because the restaurant was short staffed because I do think the food served is not only interesting but their portions are generous and very tasty.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Oct 1, 2022Previous reviewOutstanding restaurant. Was lucky enough to get a reservation based on our friend's recommendation. We went in with high expectations and Brass Heart did not disappoint. An inventive and delicious menus. So much thought has been put into each dish from plating to wine pairings. It's a small restaurant with an intimate setting which meant we got to talk to Chef when he brought the food out as well as the owner Vincent who really is the host with the most. It deserves a Michelin Star for sure!

I don't know how this place doesn't have a a Michelin star! The restaurant is beautiful and decorated tastefully. They're one of the few tasting menus doing a vegetarian menu so it was nice to know for my veggie friends. They only need a 24 hr notice to accommodate veggie dietary restrictions. It felt like a special dining experience because my brother and I pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The menu was creative, beautify and delicious. Don't sleep on this spot because it was such an enjoyable dining experience.

We really enjoy this place A LOT! Came for a tasting menu & so incredibly executed. One of the few actually only place we've been to that had a cocktail pairing. I was bf so wasn't able to enjoy the alcohol portion and my sister in law also doesn't drink and they were able to make a non-alcoholic version which was awesome. The chef is pretty cool and you can see in the kitchen when walking to the bathroom. Overall we really love our experience here and cannot wait to come back.

Outstanding dinner by Brass Heart! One of my favorite meals in a while. Not only did they manage to entice the taste buds from the first bite to the last, but also paid respect to the ingredients and culture; a rarity to experience.
The space itself is intimate: about 4 or 5 tables in total that can seat maybe 10-12 people, with dim lighting that helps set the mood. Do not expect to hear only a lounge music playlist, however, as the music playing throughout the night varied wildly, but was enjoyable. There were more than a few times I started dancing in my seat cause the music was so good!
There was not a single dish that I did not like, as everything I was served tasted exquisite. Most dishes were perfect, with not a single thing missing the mark. Dinner started great, and kept getting better throughout the night. The tomato dish, which I thought I would not like, was yummy, yet, my least favorite as every other dish was fantastic.
The Coffee and Concha dish was the standout of the night, as it was decadent, savory, sweet, and inspired by Latin traditions that made me appreciate what we were eating even more. It put me in my childhood home where pan and cafe are an integral part of my family's lives and daily routine.
Loved, loved, loved Brass Heart, and can't wait to go back again! It is severely underrated and deserves to be recognized as the fine dining powerhouse it is. It is one of the best meals to be had in Chicago!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Feb 12, 2022
Came for a tasting menu for two and wine pairing for one and had a delightful experience. Between a 4 and a 5 rating and decided to round up based on consistency and originality. The total came out to $630.
A couple of the first and last dishes were perfection, and the rest were creative and tasty. There wasn't a single "miss". They love to play with textures, especially incorporating a crunch. There were a flurry of wine pairings that were quite good and well matched so I'd definitely recommend that. The space is small, with room for only 16 guests at a time. We were there for 3 hours.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Benajamin H.Logan Square, Chicago, IL03322Apr 8, 2023
It should have a star. Our meal was creative, and gave me that ASMR tingle that truly delicious food always does. Our favorite dish was the truffle and freeze dried corn pasta, but everything was delicious.
While not quite the same level as Oriole, certainly on par with Boka, Elske, and other 1 star experiences. Would recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ortelio F.Chicago, IL0152Jul 21, 2022
The family went to Brass Heart for dinner to celebrate my grandniece's 16th birthday. It was a special occasion and the evening experience at Brass Heart was every bit as awesome as we had hoped for. The food was amazing and the service flawless. Highly recommended.

The food at Brass Heart blows its competition out of the water. Next, Alinea etc are great but I preferred BH. Food, wine, ambiance are all top notch and it is an excellent value compared to its peers.

A delightful surprise in the Uptown neighborhood. We enjoy many of Chicago's fine restaurants but this new place is sure to be a standout. Inventive, artful and an explosion of flavors on your tastebuds with a nice attentive staff. Each course was served with appropriate tempo. Sample flavorings like calamansi drizzle and uni foam with foie gras, aguachile, oyster with passion fruit, coconut and trout roe are mere examples of a diverse multi country inspired tasting menu. We will visit again!

There are definitely some stand out dishes and that I liked a lot but few of the dishes were a bit salty for me. i almost felt like the chef like to add salt to everything because I can taste salt in our dessert and dipping dot. Lol I like my dessert to just be sweet. I especially hated the oyster with some passion fruit juice or whatever it was on the top. It was a super weird combination. The service was excellent and I love the design of the restaurant. The presentation of food was on point which was why I picked it over Michelin star restaurants. I still think it is definitely worth a try.
