The service was great at the store and I paid for white glove delivery and feel like I got a black glove delivery. They left my home a mess including my entrance way and my neighbors doors. All the worker could say was that he forgot his vacuum cleaner like come on. Either way never again. I rather deal with raymour and Flanigan

I bought a dresser from this location. I had the dresser a lil over a year and two dresser drawers broke. I called the store told me nothing could be done because warranty expired. Call the goof thing... told to get it fixed myself ... what business does that !!! No worries ... I will

Made a purchase June 2023. I was offered the no interest for 12 months financing option. After receiving my bill I contacted Wells Fargo who stated it would be the store that corrects the error. I called Bobs Co-op city and was told I needed to come in and fill out a form. I visited the store, filled out the form and was told to wait until Jan 2024 to for it to update. I contacted Wells Fargo again to start a claim. Claim was denied. Contacted Bob's made a complaint and was told the store would call me back. As of today I have not received a call and my issue has not been resolved. It is extremely unfair for me to have to take time out of my schedule to visit the store again as I no longer live in New York.

I went there to get a living room set I put a down payment and realized the same day another place had the same set for a lot cheaper I went back the next day to get my money back and was told they don't give cash back but I will receive a check in the mail in about 10 days. I waited 2 weeks and never received a check I then went back and was told it will now be 7 days because they wrote the check wrong! I've been calling and calling and was finally told it was in the mail which was a lie because it never came! I'm now still going back and forth with them to get my money back don't ever do business here they are nothing but scammers and will steal your money in hopes that you forget about!!!!! I'm not stopping until I get my money back

Bobs is now so damn money hungry they don't care about customer satisfaction and properly communicating with each other. I had a couch delivered on 9/16 that was absolutely too big, the delivery guys refused to take it back and left it u assembled, see below which is completely unprofessional. I had to fight with bobs to get someone to take it back the same day, THEY WANTED ME TO WAIT A WEEK!!! Absurd. I still order another couch that was supposed to be delivered today. Lo and behold the delivery comes with NO COUCH staying he is coming to pick up the couch from 9/16 that was already picked up wtf, the delivery guy can hardly speak English and I was back and forth with different reps who gave me bs answers, no one knew what was going on. I had to go to the Bobs store in Yonkers who were fighting with the delivery team because apparently they had the couch I purchased on the truck or some bs and refused to deliver it today, for no damn reason and wanted me to wait a few days when I have NO furniture because I expected a delivery today like the texts and emails said. I cancelled my order and went elsewhere. Save urself the headache and go somewhere else.

We bought 2 electric recliners and with a warranty for 2 years. It covered the leather and electric. After a few months the leather started tearing. We called the warranty company and sent a picture of the tear. We were told that was not covered. I will never shop at Bobs Discount Furniture again.

Thursday, May 20th, 2021 began with a trip to Bob's discount furniture to speak with management about the damaged dresser delivered Wednesday the 19th of the afternoon. I was given the proverbial unprofessional runaround because what matters to them is sales NOT customer service. I dealt with a callous robotic "manager" (Loretta) that eventually connected me to "customer care" located in Guatemala and spoke with Jose who was gracious and granted a fair discount for the damaged delivered dresser. It took 30 minutes of my time to bring a fair resolution to an unfortunate situation.
I am not thrilled with Loretta & AJ, who was too busy on his conference call, for their shirking of their duties to show empathy and care in customer service and their failure to lead. I grew up in retail and spent many years in retail management and graduated from the Macy*s Executive Training Management Program and one thing that still remains with me is that when presented with a situation, it is my responsibility to be a leader to make things right with an unsatisfied customer; thus, ensure that I turn a zero experience to a hero experience.
Despite the fact that I did get satisfaction, I was left with a very bad taste in my mouth and will probably never make a future purchase again with Bob's discount furniture in coop city in the Bronx.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 27, 2021Previous reviewToday, Saturday March 27th, 2021, my mom, our Jazzie & I visited Bob's Discount Furniture to view a dresser I had found online to purchase. We were taken cared of by Tony. Tony brought us to the dresser but delivery was for mid July. Tony patiently provided me comparable choices and arrived at a more beautifully designed dresser that was available for early May delivery - Sold! - we were delighted with Tony's friendly informed approach and made the whole experience an absolute delight! So much so that I went to his manager Rick to directly inform him how wonderful Tony is and that he should get a raise - thank you for the opportunity to share a gracious experience at Bob's Discount Furniture

I haven't bought any furniture from here so this review is based strictly on the floor presentation and customer service.
Tony is a great salesman that really knows how to connect with customers and give honest opinions about quality and longevity of furniture. He also helps you navigate the Showroom according to your budget and style. I had fun speaking with him and him allowing us to have space to roam around to check sets out ourselves without trying to sell us every piece of furniture.
Bob's furniture shows you the total set price and individual pieces' price which was a much better set up than neighboring furniture stores that try to convince you to buy sets than pieces for "greater savings."
The furniture store while overwhelming with the amount of furniture inside had a certain organization to it that allowed you to feel the difference between quality sets and more pricey sets.
It's great they offer customers hot coffee, powder creamer, several different candy, cookies, and ice cream.
The bathrooms were clean inside the building as well. I definitely recommend if you want to shop without hassle and being pressured every minute. Please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. I purchased a adjustable base and within the same day when it was installed the two feet came off. Absolutely ridiculous isn't it??? I demanded that they exchange the base for another one and I was told that it only could be fixed. They sent a technician and I had to wait for more than a month for the feet to be delivered then I had to wait another month for another technician to fix it. After installation the feet started to bend again. Fast forward a year later my warranty is up and now I am stuck with a adjustable base that is defective and cannot be used. I am really disappointed and will never shop from Bob's again.

Unfortunately almost everything I wanted was unavailable till like April or later
That was a disappointment!!!
The things are nice s little too pricey
I was willing to spend the money
How can you when nothing is available
