Great cookies. Especially when you buy them directly from the factory. Really good prices too.

So if you like cookies, and who doesn't like cookies, you owe it to yourself to stop at Best Maid Cookie Company. You can order as many cookies as you want. They have cases and cases of any cookie you can imagine either cooked or in the form of dough.
My favorite are the dough because then I can cook them myself. There is nothing better then hot cookies right out of the oven!! If cookies aren't your thing then their lemon bars are what you need to try. They are soft and so lemony it makes you pucker every time you eat them.
Another option they have are broken or cookies that fall on the ground. I have a friend that buys cases of cookies to feed to the bears. I think they are like $3 a case which a pretty good deal.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - William A.River Falls, WI1610Nov 14, 2017
My favorite cookies are the snicker doodles and the ginger snaps. The cookies are large, moist and reasonably priced. Free samples are available, so you can try them before and/or after purchases. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Campground host told us about this place, and we were glad we took the time to find it, as it is a bit off the beaten path in an industrial park type area, but nice. No tour, but can see the cookie belt as you walk in the store, and it has a nice selection of their goods, and they are good! We went with the spice cookies, soft chewy goodness, and a fair price.

Several times while visiting RF, my son-in-law has bought me cookies from Best Maid. Probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever eaten. That said, I visited today since I'm in town again and bought three large bags to take home to my husband. Although these are delicious cookies, the attitude behind the counter at the cash register is HORRID. Rude and cold. Seriously, no reason for this. It's literally bad enough that I won't bother coming in again, which is really sad. Maybe management should implement some customer service training. You'd think an adult would know how to treat people. My daughter says this is par for the course and has had the same experience. We expect more from a well-supported business in the community.

When we visited UW-RF this week we decided a cookie or two was in order. This is a great cookie place that is probably known best by the locals, it's out of the way in a warehouse area and it's all that well marked-but that isn't the business they are in, they are really a wholesaler.
We purchased a few different kinds at the outlet store, they were all really good but our favorite was the snicker doodles, great flavor and reminded me of the one's we made growing up. I brought some to a scout meeting that night and they were a hit. Great place to indulge your sweet tooth. Thanks to Yelp for helping us find this local cookie haven!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Missy N.River Falls, WI184Jul 28, 2017
I used to LOVE these cookies. They were the absolute best! Didn't matter what flavor, they were all good. Unfortunately the quality has gone down. They were bought out in 2014 by a Chicago company and in late 2016 combined with Hudson Baking. The name Rise Bakery is now on the building as well as the website. The cookies used to be thick and delicious. Now they're thin and just average. Not sure what changed but it's pretty disappointing. The bars are still good but the cookies have changed.

Recently the stopped making the 2.5 oz chocolate chip and they do 2.75 instead. Every one is telling me it is different taste. I called best maid and talked to one of the ladies who knows everything about the cookies, she is very unfriendly and seems as she doesn't care period.... (NO we can't make them anymore she replied!!!!).

No reason to get cookies anywhere else, these are as good as it gets! Remember they are closed on weekends. No credit cards, so bring cash or your check book. Love the free samples!
