Q:
Do you offer long distance moving? If so, how far are you willing to move a customer and what is your pricing for long distance moving?
A:
We do long distance moves regularly. The 2 main factors we quote from will be based on the hours we estimate to load/ unload your shipment. (This is calculated from the weight we receive from the inventory) along with the miles from your old home to… more

The guys that moved me were really great! Quick, great personalities, took really great care of my things, helpful and they made this move fun. My only complaint is that I feel that I didn't fully understand their payment structure and felt the rate was a a bit high for a short move.

#21379479 for more details. There are many trusted good local moving companies in Chattanooga. This is not one of them.Mar 27, 2024Previous reviewStay away from using this business. They will quote you a lowball price and then demand payment the day of the move for a much marked price.
They will try to sell you an Extraordinary Value insurance policy that they are not licensed to sell and that does not exist. The "Claims Mgr" is actually the owner's girlfriend. When you tell them you want to file a claim, they will say they are handling it internally and then they disappear and go radio silent.
Check Better Business Bureau of Chattanooga for more detail.Mar 3, 2024Previous reviewSteer clear of this business. They are unresponsive to the client once the move is physically done and they have your money. Be aware, they will sell you an extra insurance policy but will not file a claim because to costs them too much money.

This was the fourth moving company in 20 years we have used in this area. First I must say these guys worked very hard and spent a lot of time insuring our furniture was well wrapped and secure. This would be the first time we haven't had a lot of damage to our furniture. We ordered three but only had two show up. It took many additional hours than expected because of the shortage of man power and the cost was 60 % more than the original quote.
I felt was very excessive. But, we did have the third guy show up half way through the day, and everything was done well. Even though the total price was very excessive, we felt these guys deserved a tip and were happy to pay them for their hard work. I would suggest, that the person providing the quote do his home work. 60% over quote?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Felicia M.SoMa, San Francisco, CA01Jan 16, 2024
It's been five months and I am still waiting on my compensation. During the move from Chattanooga to Florida, there were two things damaged in the move. My clothes in one of the wardrobe boxes somehow got wet, not sure how that happened, and my TV stand was broken in the move. I was told that they would pay me $150 for the broken stand. It's been five months and still no compensation. I have called repeatedly but no one will respond. This is not how you do business!

We had a great experience. They were only about 20 minutes late, but they called ahead to warn us. One of the guys had partied the night before and was sleeping in the truck for 15 minutes, but they were very forthright.
Nothing was broken!
They all had great personalities.
We welcomed them into our restrooms multiple times because they were like family towards the end!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathleen G.Oklahoma City, OK01Apr 22, 2023

The experience started out great. The owner was pleasant and communicated reasonably well. The movers themselves were on time and though a bit slow we realized it was because they were wrapping items well. It was after the move was completed that things fell apart. That evening, once my WiFi, had been connected that I realized our 65" television was damaged when I turned it on to program it. We immediately contacted the company. I provided pictures, filled out the claim form, etc.
Last week the owner informed me that the insurance company had denied the claim. I spoke with him at length when I called him and stated how unfair this appeared to be since it was working prior to the move. He stated he believed me but it was the insurance. I literally begged him to try again since I had just had the mother board replaced through the company I purchased the television from.
I just heard back and he stated again the insurance had denied the claim. I felt since this was a vet owned company and my husband is vet as well that honor meant something. He stated he believed me it was functioning appropriately prior to move yet he has made no offer other than to go through his insurance. The sad part is his "contact" says they're concern for moving electronics is why they offer to place them in the personal vehicle of the client yet no such offer was made. He never even responded to my husband when he left a message on his voicemail trying to find out about claim.
Overall, everything else went well and the movers themselves worked hard. It is just an expensive lesson to learn to move your own electronics.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

We are very sorry to hear this and read this. We always want to do everything we possibly can to ensure damages never happen but from time to time they do happen. That is the main reason we carry over 3 million dollars in combined insurance coverage. When a damage does occur we immediately start a claim to get things processed. Anything over $250 we always go through the insurance company so they can process and payout when damages do occur. As per the signed agreement, the insurance provider will not cover internal components for electronics because they do not know the age or working condition of said electronics. They only cover phyical damage for mishandling or dropping items when it comes to damages. Regardless of this we still processed a claim on your behalf as requested. It came back and we were told that the impact of the screen was due to something hitting the screen with force. We took the liberty to interview each member that assisted in your relocation. All steps were taken the correct way. Television was padded and wrapped and secured safely in the truck. This was a small apartment move and we had ample space for all of your televisions to ensure no household goods would come in contact with these electronics. After the call and the news about the claim being denied, you requested that we submit the claim again. We even told them that your roommate would vouch that it worked before this relocation. They then highlighted the service agreement and sent it back to us with the same statement. You requested a copy of the agreement which we sent immediately going over items the insurance company would not cover (These items are industry standards that no House Hold Good insurance provider will cover). If the damage originated from a corner, that would be evidence that the crew mishandled your television but the only damage was to the LCD screen which cannot be seen when the television is off and unplugged. We always process claims through insurance. That way even when we service a smaller relocation (Under $600 for all services included) and we have a client request a new 65" Television (valued over $1500). The insurance company can be there to assist in the claim and can make that payment if and when a damage does occur. From Veteran to Veteran we always want to be honest and have integrity with every relocation we service no matter the size. We never ignored emails or blocked calls and kept you posted and gave updates as we recieved them. I'm sorry the claim was denied. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or concerns and we will still be more than happy to assist in anyway.

Do NOT use All Out Moving. The team of movers they provided us damaged multiple pieces of furniture. They were slow, and the damage was due to a lack of common packing sense. In addition, the company they use for Moving Insurance, Move Smart Move Management, LLC, is a complete scam. They are happy to take your money for a policy, but if actual damage occurs, they will just stop responding to you. I was told they had 120 days to respond to a claim. 120 days was on October 6th, 2022. I have attempted to contact them multiple times, and there is no response. All Out Moving has not responded either. I am currently working with an Attorney, and I will be made hold. You do not want this headache, do not use All Out Moving.

Worst moving experience possible. The guys who came to do the move were pleasant and curtios but not exactly careful with my belongings. They were very quick to bring to my attention when things that were damaged or broken before they loaded them on the truck to my attention but when it came to them breaking or damaging my things they never said a word. My 6 months old 3k refrigerator has over a dozen dents and dings and only because my wife noticed a scratch I doubt they would have said a word along with all the other items that were damaged. I tried numerous times to contact the owner though Email and direct phone calls but never got the courtesy of a reply. The last time I talked with Carlos who was the person who organized the job in Nov 2021 about where my money was for the damages I was told it would take up to 6 months for my refund. The move was on August 14th 2021 and as of Jan 30th 2022 I have still not heard anything from this company. I would not recommend or ever use their service again and I will contact them once more to see where my money is before I take them to small claims court.
