Ladies if you are single, wondering where to have your car serviced without feeling taken for a ride Cord Performance is the place!
Actually met Cord through his Mom via awesome sister -- drove our to his shop he checked it out, said its the brakes, he can do this and that etc. for practically nothing. Cool I'll be back next week. That week came and went Cord did a FANTASTIC job even with my crazy schedule he came out p/u'd my car even dropped it back off...Serious that is service.
We talked about the other items that need fixing said OK then how about tomorrow? Cord was back out to retrieve my car rebuild the bushings and drop it back off.
Next month I will have the remainder of the items finished and my beast will be in tip-top shape.

I love cars, but in the mechanics department I know absolutely zip. Ever since I moved down to LA for college, I never found a mechanic to stick with; I usually end up driving my car home up to NorCal to go to my Mom's mechanic. There have been a few incidences with my car where I had to default to places like the dealership or Firestone. Those places charge a premium and it sucks when you don't have a choice. I love small business mechanics; you can trust them to take care of your car as you build a relationship with them. I found my mechanic here, even though I live in west LA and he's located in Anaheim.

Carlo is a great guy. Chat with him and get to know him. He knows his stuff and he doesn't charge up the wazoo. I'll be back...too many things wrong with my car (ak, those small things that you wouldn't otherwise notice).

I'm so happy I finally found myself a reliable mechanic! I was referred to this shop through friends who swore by their service. Carlo took care of my car, same day service, and it's running great. He was very thorough, making sure all bases were covered, and kept me informed as I waited... All while remaining extremely patient to my curiosity and barrel of questions. I live in San Diego, but visit this area frequently, giving me the perfect opportunity to take care of some car maintenance. If you're looking for a reliable one stop shop, I highly recommend passing through and checking it out. Good luck!

It's hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust. You can always go to a dealership and have work done on your car, but you'll just be another number--and don't forget about the premium you'll pay at the "stealerships."

What I liked most about my visit was that I had a proper walk-through of my vehicle and Carlo pointed out areas where things were becoming worn. He didn't just hand me a sheet of "recommended" repairs, I actually got to see the parts myself. I had just got done purchasing a used car so having this personal walk-through gave me a much-needed peace of mind--you wont get this at most other shops.

For the very fair price, proper assessment and work that was performed on my car, I couldn't rate this place any less than 5 stars.

For any skeptics out there, give cord performance a call or visit. Talk to Carlo and see for yourself. Keep in mind, it's not just a repair facility but also a performance/tuning shop They are car enthusiasts and would be more than happy to talk or do work on performance upgrades.

Hard to find a mechanic that you can trust and is reasonably priced. Been going to Carlo for years. Always gets the job done. I've attempted to use other mechanics since moving to LA but they all try to rip me off. I now drive all the way from Pasadena to get my car worked on. If you need anything from engine work to smog checks to simple oil changes cord performance is the best place to go.
